Visiting project of the agro-industry of SPAD by Mr. Esmaeil Tabadar, governor of Fars

Engineer Esmaeil Tabadar, on a trip to Marvdasht city, visted the plan for producing Nasoot medicinal plants, emphasized the importance of commissioning and exploitation of this project in creation of employment and development of this province, and described the Nasoot plan as a chain of laboratory processing based on the necessity of cultivating plants with the least amount of water used in theform of knowledge-based, and added: "It is a multifaceted plan, and in addition to providing professional training, it works also on beekeeping and processing of medicinal plants".

High Representative of the Government in Fars province, pointing out that the Nasoot executives initially began to recognize the market and started marketing in the first phase of their operations, added: in the situation where the production cycle has not yet been completed, the export markets of this complex have been provided and have succeeded in exporting products such as saffron and honey to other countries.

Emphasizing that in the Nasoot plan, the processing of medicinal plants is based on knowledge, he continued: in relation to the use of salt water, the R & D experts of this complex, thanks to the native technical knowledge, have succeeded in producing water used for agricultural production with indigenous technical knowledge and also providing fertilizer for agricultural production from wastewater.

The governor of Fars said: "I hope that in Fars, which occupies a prominent place in agriculture, such collections that have created the chain of production and treatment of medicinal plants with a knowledge-based approach, and the nasoot plan can also be a model that needs to be taken into account.

Engineer Esmaeil Tabadar said that each of the managers of this collection had specific knowledge in the field of soil, agriculture, water and marketing, said: Nasoot's plan is in its infancy and should reach its peak by providing the necessary facilities and assistance, and it should be presented as a model in the province of Fars and the country.

High Representative of the Government in Fars province, pointing out that the city of Marvdasht was, is, and will be an agricultural pole, emphasized: the water crisis should change our look at agriculture and we should put our agenda in line with the requirements of time.

Emphasizing that the replacement of products or the development of greenhouse areas should be taken seriously on the agenda, he noted: managers should in close communication with the people explain to them that cultures requiring high water and drowning are not feasible and that alternative crops should be introduced to farmers according to the region; if we prohibit the cultivation of certain products, we must provide a ground for livelihoods of people.
